Migrate from Shopify to Vendor.
For Shopify stores held back by app subscriptions or a checkout they can't fully control. We connect through the Shopify Admin API and bring your catalog and customers across while your Shopify store keeps selling.
What comes across.
We connect with read-only access to your Shopify Admin API. Here is what moves, and what you set up fresh on Vendor.
Comes across from Shopify
- Products and variants
- Collections
- Product images
- SEO titles and descriptions
- Your existing URL redirects
- Inventory
- Customer accounts and addresses
Set up fresh on Vendor
- Your themeLiquid themes only run on Shopify. Your store moves to a Vendor storefront, with your branding, navigation and content.
- Shop Pay and Shopify PaymentsThey only exist inside Shopify. We set up the payment providers that fit your market, like Stripe, PayPal, Klarna or your local bank.
- Customer passwordsShopify never exposes them. Customers set a new one the first time they sign in.
- Past ordersNot part of the standard import. If you need them, we plan it separately.
- Shopify

How the move works.
Your Shopify store keeps selling the whole time. Prices and stock sync again right before launch.
- 01Review your current storeYou give us read-only access, and we look at your catalog, apps and customers.
- 02Import and prepareProducts, variants, collections, images, inventory and customers come across.
- 03Review before launchYou check the new store before anything changes publicly.
- 04Switch when readyPrices and stock sync one last time, old URLs redirect, and your domain moves to Vendor.
Why stores move from Shopify.
Shopify is a fast way to launch. As a store grows, more of what it needs lives in paid apps.
- Monthly app subscriptions that keep adding up
- Checkout changes limited to what Shopify allows
- Extra transaction fees for using your own payment provider
- Your store shaped around Shopify instead of the way you sell
Shopify migration questions.
Stripe, PayPal and Klarna run on Vendor, along with local bank gateways, cash on delivery and bank transfer. Shop Pay and Shopify Payments only exist inside Shopify, so we set up the providers that fit your market before launch.
Liquid themes only run on Shopify, so your store moves to a Vendor storefront. Your branding, navigation, collections and product content come with it, and you approve the pages before anything goes live.
Product and collection handles carry over as Vendor slugs, and your SEO titles, descriptions and existing Shopify redirects come across too. Where Shopify's URL structure differs from Vendor's, we plan redirects as part of the switch-over.
We go through the apps you pay for and what each one does. Discounts, coupons, vouchers and a multilingual storefront are built into Vendor. Anything else we look at with you before you commit.
Customer accounts come across with names, emails and addresses. Shopify never exposes passwords, so customers set a new one the first time they sign in. Past orders aren't part of the standard import; if you need them, we plan it separately.
Vendor Standard plans start at €39 a month with no setup fee. Things that usually need paid plugins or apps, like advanced discounts, coupons, vouchers and a multilingual storefront, are built into the platform.
