Migrate from WooCommerce to Vendor.
For WooCommerce stores that have outgrown their plugins. We connect to your store's API and bring your catalog and customers across, while your WooCommerce shop keeps selling until the day you switch.
What comes across.
The importer connects to your WooCommerce REST API. Here is what moves, and what you set up fresh on Vendor.
Comes across from WooCommerce
- Products and variations
- Attributes, categories and brands
- Product images
- Prices and tax rates
- Stock levels
- Customer accounts and addresses
- Product URLs (slugs)
Set up fresh on Vendor
- Your themeWordPress themes don't run on Vendor. Your store moves to a Vendor storefront, with your branding and content.
- Customer passwordsWooCommerce never exposes them. Customers set a new one the first time they sign in.
- Past ordersNot part of the standard import. If you need them, we plan it separately.
- SEO titles from pluginsTitles and descriptions from Yoast and similar plugins are reviewed with you before launch.
- WooCommerce
- 1Review
- 2Import & prepare
- 3Check
- 4Go live
How the move works.
The import runs in the background and picks up where it stopped if a run is interrupted. Prices and stock can sync again right before launch.
- 01Review your current storeWe look at your catalog, plugins and customers, and what needs to move.
- 02Import and prepareTax rates, brands, categories, attributes, then products, prices, stock and customers.
- 03Review before launchYou check the new store before anything changes publicly.
- 04Switch when readyPrices and stock sync one last time, old URLs redirect, and your domain moves to Vendor.
Why stores move from WooCommerce.
WooCommerce is a good place to start. As a store grows, the plugins and upkeep grow with it.
- A growing stack of paid plugins, each with its own updates
- An admin that slows down as the catalog grows
- Checkout changes that need custom code or another plugin
- Breakages after WordPress or plugin updates
WooCommerce migration questions.
Product slugs carry over unchanged, so your product addresses keep their names. Where your old URL structure differs from Vendor's, we plan redirects as part of the switch-over. SEO titles and descriptions from plugins like Yoast are reviewed with you before launch.
No. WordPress themes only run on WooCommerce, so your store moves to a Vendor storefront. Your branding, catalog structure and product content come with it.
Customer accounts come across with names, emails and addresses. Passwords can't be moved, because WooCommerce never exposes them. The first time a customer signs in, they set a new password, confirmed with a one-time code sent to their email.
Not through the importer. It brings your catalog, prices, stock, tax rates and customer accounts. If you need past orders in Vendor, tell us and we'll plan it separately.
Vendor Standard plans start at €39 a month with no setup fee. Things that usually need paid plugins or apps, like advanced discounts, coupons, vouchers and a multilingual storefront, are built into the platform.
