Campaigns

Double points this weekend. No release required.

A campaign changes how many points a purchase earns, for the people and dates you choose. Marketing schedules it in the dashboard, and every till and shop picks it up on the next purchase.

Every promotion should not be a developer ticket.

When points rates are hard-coded in the till or the shop, each promotion waits for a release and ends whenever someone remembers to switch it off. Campaigns are settings with dates, so they start and stop on time.

  • Set the earning rate for a periodGive a campaign its own earning percentage, start time and end time. During the window it replaces the normal tier or programme rate.
  • Aim it at a tier, a segment or bothRun double points for Gold members only, for a segment such as “Lapsed 90 days”, or leave both empty to include everyone.
  • Priority instead of accidentsWhen two campaigns overlap, the one with the higher priority wins. Bonuses never stack by mistake and your cost stays predictable.
  • Draft, schedule, pause, endPrepare campaigns as drafts, schedule them ahead, pause one in the middle of a run and resume it, all from the list view.
  • Every point knows where it came fromEach transaction records whether its rate came from a campaign, the tier or the programme default, and which campaign. Reporting on a promotion is a filter, not a guess.
  • Preview before launchQuote what a purchase would earn for a given member without recording anything.

Promotions that start and stop on time.

Draft, schedule, pause, end.

Every campaign has dates and a status your team controls from the list.

One rate wins, every time.

Campaign, then tier, then programme default. The transaction records which.

Which rate applies.

  1. 01Active campaignIn its date window and matching the member’s tier or segment. Highest priority wins.
  2. 02Member’s tierIf no campaign applies, the tier’s own earning rate.
  3. 03Programme defaultIf the member has no tier rate, the default for the programme.
