Mobile app

A loyalty app with your name on the store listing.

We build and publish a branded iOS and Android app for your programme. Customers carry the card, check points, read every receipt, unlock offers and pool points with their family, all under your brand. Tinex runs it today as Tinex Family.

The app your customers open every week.

Every screen is yours: your name, colours and offers. These are the screens Tinex customers use today.

  • The card, always on themPoints with their value in money and a barcode the till scans first time, even with no signal.
  • Scan a plastic card to connect itPoint the camera at an existing card and confirm with a one-time code. No support call.
  • A profile that earnsA survey and friend invites earn bonus points and tell you what each customer cares about.
  • A reward store and missionsUnlock offers with points, grab free member offers and finish missions for extra points.
  • Every receipt, line by linePurchases by week, month or year, each with its items, savings and points earned.
  • Family pointsInvite the household, see everyone’s points and send points to each other.

A plastic card in a drawer isn’t a relationship.

Customers forget the card, can’t see their points and never hear about offers that fit them. An app in their pocket fixes all three, but building one from scratch means a year of work on login, cards, receipts and store releases before the first offer goes out.

  • The card, always with themThe card artwork with a scannable barcode. Tap it for a full-screen, rotated barcode the till scanner reads first time. With no signal the app still shows the last card it saved.
  • Bring a plastic card or get a new oneCustomers who already have a card scan it with the camera or type the number, then confirm with a one-time code. Customers without one get a digital card in the app after accepting the programme terms.
  • Points with a value next to themThe balance and what it is worth in money, plus a points history and a screen that explains how the earning scale works, with worked examples and a chart.
  • Every receipt, line by linePurchase history filtered by week, month, year or custom dates and by store format. Each purchase opens a digital receipt with items, discounts and payment type.
  • A reward storeOffers grouped as rewards to unlock with points, free member offers and offers ending soon. Each has its terms and dates, a confirmation step and a countdown once unlocked.
  • MissionsChallenges with instructions, task progress and repeat rules, so customers know what to do next to earn more.
  • Family pointsCreate a family group, invite members by email, accept with a code and send points to each other. The owner manages who is in the group.
  • Referrals and surveysInvite friends with a code or a share link for bonus points. A personalisation survey, with drafts saved, earns points and tells you what each customer cares about.
  • A home screen you controlBanners, a promo ticker and brand pages are managed in the CMS. Change the home screen or launch a campaign page without an app release.
  • Stores near meAll locations with distance from the customer and an open-now filter, with directions handed to their maps app.
  • Notifications and an inboxPush notifications plus an in-app inbox. Customers choose their channels (email, SMS or Viber) in settings.
  • Accounts done properlySign-up with consent choices, email verification, password reset, change of phone number and in-app account deletion as the app stores require. Customers moved from an older system set a new password from an emailed code and are signed straight in.
  • Built-in helpGuided help flows walk customers through sign-up, linking a card, family groups and offers, alongside a searchable help centre.
  • Updates you can enforceSet a minimum app version or switch on maintenance mode from the server, with your own message and store links.

How it is built

A React Native app for iOS and Android, built and shipped through EAS, signing in with AWS Cognito. Every loyalty call goes through your Vendor backend, which holds the keys, so the app never talks to the loyalty engine directly. Tinex’s app connects to Mastercard SessionM this way; the same app can connect to Vendor Loyalty.
