Solution · Omnichannel

One commerce backend for every channel you sell on.

Storefront, POS, marketplaces, dark stores, partner portals — one catalog, one inventory truth, one order pipeline. Vendor was built to handle commerce across channels, not to bolt POS onto a DTC platform.

The problem

Why omnichannel splinters so often.

[Placeholder] Most retailers run two or three commerce systems by accident. The DTC platform handles the website. A separate POS handles in-store. Marketplaces sync through a third tool. Returns from one channel can't reverse to another. Inventory counts diverge. Customer data lives in four CRMs. The Friday-night sync job is everyone's least favorite cron job.

  • Inventory counts that diverge between web, POS, and marketplaces
  • Returns that can only be processed at the channel of purchase
  • Customer profiles split across DTC and POS systems
  • Promotions that don't apply consistently across channels
  • BOPIS / ship-from-store stuck in a partner integration
Capabilities

What Vendor does for omnichannel operations.

One backend for every channel — built that way from day one.

Unified inventory ledger

Every channel reads the same inventory truth. Reservations are first-class — picking up at a store decrements the same ledger as a web order.

Native POS

POS app for iPad and Android, online + offline modes, with the same product, customer, and price logic as web.

BOPIS / ship-from-store

Buy-online-pick-up-in-store, ship-from-store, return-anywhere — all routing decisions made on a single ATP graph.

Marketplace integrations

Native Amazon, eBay, Bol.com, Allegro. Listings synced from one catalog. Orders, returns, and inventory reconciled.

Cross-channel customer profile

One customer record across web, store, and marketplace. Loyalty, returns, and segmentation work uniformly.

Cross-channel promotions

Promotion rules engine that honors the same logic across web, POS, and marketplace orders. No "channel exclusions".

Frequently asked

Omnichannel team questions.

Do you replace our POS?

[Placeholder] We can — most customers consolidate onto our native POS. If you want to keep a specialized POS (e.g. Lightspeed, Square), we integrate two-way: catalog, prices, inventory, customers, and orders.

How does BOPIS reservation work?

[Placeholder] When a buyer picks BOPIS at checkout, we reserve at the chosen store from the same ledger. Reservations have an expiry window; expired reservations release back to ATP automatically.

What about marketplace order management?

[Placeholder] Marketplace orders flow into the same order pipeline as web orders. Status, returns, refunds — all unified. Reconciliation reports per marketplace included.

Can stores work offline?

[Placeholder] Yes. POS supports offline mode for catalog browse and checkout. Orders queue locally and sync as soon as connectivity returns.
