The fastest way to evaluate a platform is to use it. Now you can, without a sales call.
For a long time, getting started with Vendor meant having a conversation with us first. That was fine — even good — when we were tiny and every merchant was a relationship we built by hand. But it also meant the best way to judge the platform was gated behind a calendar invite. The best way to judge a platform is to actually use it, today, without waiting on anyone. So we built a proper self-service onboarding: sign up, choose your plan, pay, and your store provisions itself.
How the new flow works
We pulled signup, plan selection, and payment into a single focused funnel that deliberately lives apart from the main dashboard. Keeping it separate means it stays fast and distraction-free — there's nothing to explore, nothing to get lost in, just a clear path from 'interested' to 'live'. The moment your payment clears, provisioning happens automatically and you land in your new admin, ready to add products.
- A dedicated onboarding flow that's quick and doesn't make you think.
- Plan selection and payment handled right there — no back-and-forth emails.
- Automatic store provisioning the instant your payment clears.
- A secure, per-account onboarding token so the handoff to your dashboard is seamless.
- Sales is still one click away if you'd rather have a human walk you through it.
Behind the scenes there's a fair amount of machinery making this feel effortless — the funnel runs on its own edge-hosted front end so it's fast everywhere, and a per-tenant token carries you securely from the moment you pay into your provisioned dashboard. You don't see any of that, which is the point.
Why we still offer a sales call
Self-service is the default now, but it's not the only door. Some teams genuinely prefer to talk first — especially if they're migrating a busy store, have unusual requirements, or just want a human to confirm they're making the right call before they commit. We're happy to be that human. The point of self-service was never to avoid people. It was to make sure you never have to wait for one just to get started.
“The best demo is the product itself, on your own time.”
What this says about where we're going
Shipping self-service signup was also a quiet statement of confidence. You only remove the sales call as a requirement when you trust the product to make its own case — when you believe that someone poking around on their own will come away convinced rather than confused. We think we're there, and opening the front door is how we put that belief to the test.
Try it now
You can start free, explore the admin properly, and only choose a paid plan when you're actually ready to go live. No card required just to look around. If you've been meaning to evaluate Vendor but never found a slot to book a call, there's nothing left to schedule — the door is open, and the best demo is waiting on the other side of it.
