Art. 16 — Right to rectification

Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Ask us to fix data that is wrong or fill in data that is incomplete.

Under Article 16 of the GDPR you have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you corrected without undue delay, and to have incomplete data completed — including by adding a supplementary statement.

What this right covers

  • Wrong information we hold about you (e.g. misspelled name, wrong address).
  • Out-of-date information we have not yet updated.
  • Incomplete records that should include additional context.
  • Where reasonable, we notify recipients of the corrected data.

    Acknowledgment

    We confirm receipt within 5 business days.

  2. 02

    Identity verification

    We verify your identity using information you provided. For sensitive corrections we may ask for additional proof.

  3. 03

    Correction & notification

    We make the correction across our systems within 30 calendar days. Where reasonable we notify any recipients of the original data.

  4. 04

    Confirmation

    We send you confirmation of the correction once complete, including which systems were updated.

Legal basis & retention

We process the personal data in this request only to meet our obligations under Articles 12 and 16 of the GDPR. We keep a record of the request for 24 months in our compliance log; identity-verification material is deleted within 30 days of closing the request.
