Under Article 18 of the GDPR you can ask us to restrict our processing of your personal data in specific situations. While a restriction is in place we may store the data but will not otherwise process it without your consent, except in the narrow cases the GDPR allows.
When restriction applies
- You contest the accuracy of the data — we restrict while we verify it.
- Processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure and prefer restriction instead.
- We no longer need the data but you require it for legal claims.
- You have objected to processing — restriction applies while we assess override grounds.
