Art. 18 — Right to restriction

Restrict how we process your data.

Limit how Vendor processes your personal data while you contest its accuracy, our lawful basis, or pending objection review.

Under Article 18 of the GDPR you can ask us to restrict our processing of your personal data in specific situations. While a restriction is in place we may store the data but will not otherwise process it without your consent, except in the narrow cases the GDPR allows.

When restriction applies

  • You contest the accuracy of the data — we restrict while we verify it.
  • Processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure and prefer restriction instead.
  • We no longer need the data but you require it for legal claims.
  • You have objected to processing — restriction applies while we assess override grounds.
Identity

We need to verify your identity before we can act on this request.

    Acknowledgment

We confirm receipt within 5 business days.

We assess whether the underlying ground for restriction still applies. We tell you before we lift restriction, so you can take any further action.
