The media library (Manage your Store → Media) is the single home for your images and documents. Upload once and reuse a file across products, categories, and pages.
What you can upload
- Images — JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF.
- Documents — PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP.
- Up to 25 MB per file. Filenames are cleaned up automatically and de-duplicated.
Metadata that matters
Give each image a Title, Alt text, and optional Caption. Alt text is read by screen readers and search engines — it's the single biggest SEO win in the media library, so describe what's actually in the image.
